Self first. Boundaries second. Community third.

That’s the framework I live by —

and the foundation for everything I build.

My work sits at the intersection of law, leadership, and wellbeing. I help people and organizations create healthier ways of working — from the inside out — through training, strategic support, and public health-informed practices. I focus on what’s practical, possible, and sustainable — work that honors both people and purpose. It’s the kind of change that sticks.

Let’s build something better — together.

ADVOCATE. FACILITATOR. COLLABORATOR. LEADER. STRATEGIST.

Hi There

I’M DAWN

A person writing in a spiral notebook with a floral-patterned pen, multiple colorful markers on the table, and a black box in the background.

I believe boundaries aren’t barriers — they’re bridges. And when we create space for people to show up as whole humans, we don’t just improve morale. We shift power. We spark transformation. And we create conditions where both individuals and institutions can truly thrive.

I’m the founder of The Dawn Lab and a passionate advocate for building workplaces and communities where people can thrive. As lead author of the Health & Democracy Index, I bring proven experience leading national initiatives that bridge public health, policy, and organizational wellbeing. I’ve advised efforts such as Emerging Leaders in Public Health and serve as both a Certified Wellness Practitioner and Certified in Public Health professional. With degrees in literature, microbiology, law, and global health—and recognition from APHA and USF—I offer an interdisciplinary perspective that blends rigor with compassion.

When I’m not collaborating with leaders and teams, you’ll likely find me with my fur babies, on a yoga mat, chasing the thrill of a rollercoaster, or curled up with a good book.
